Estevan was born and raised in Los Angeles, where both his parents are first-generation natives. Growing up all around LA, he spent most of his time between the San Gabriel Valley, East LA, and Venice, experiencing the diverse cultural tapestry that defines the city. His journey into filmmaking began in 2020 when he received a film camera that once belonged to his aunt. He was captivated by the deliberate process it demanded, making each shot feel more profound.
That same year marked the start of his production journey. After graduating from Anahuacalmecac, he remained at the school as a technology coordinator, leveraging his passion for technology, production, and storytelling to support the institution that had shaped him. His role as a former alumni working in technology coordination naturally evolved when a Levi's commercial opportunity arose to spotlight the school. Through his established position and demonstrated expertise in technology and production, he earned the opportunity to serve as production assistant and site representative while capturing behind-the-scenes moments on film with his camera. This project allowed him to discover how his technical skills, storytelling passion, and production instincts could converge into a fulfilling career path.
Through this initial project, he forged connections with industry professionals who not only inspired him but also recognized his unique blend of technical coordination experience and the distinctive cultural perspective that came from being educated at the only school in North America with an Indigenous-based curriculum integrated into the IB program. This cultural experience provided insights and storytelling approaches that other educational backgrounds simply couldn't offer. His dedication and performance led to recommendations to other companies across various sectors. Thus far, he has cultivated valuable relationships and collaborated with remarkable individuals in the field, building upon the foundation of technical expertise and profound cultural connection that began during his time as a technology coordinator at Anahuacalmecac.
In recent years, more and more Black and Indigenous people who feel underrepresented within “Latinidad” and Latinx Heritage Month have begun to speak out and share their voices. To honor this cultural movement, Levi's® has collaborated with Mexican artist, storyteller and activist, Xiuhtezcatl, as well as the Anahuacalmecac school community, to create a special edition Levi’s® SecondHand Trucker Jacket celebrating Indigenous representation, and to also offer space for Indigenous people to share their stories and make their voices heard.

To achieve this goal, they are establishing a youth mentorship initiative aimed at equipping participants with the essential skills for success on set. Additionally, they excel in cultivating partnerships and offering tailored marketing strategies and management solutions to elevate their clients' projects and help them achieve their objectives.
